Board of Trustees
The business, affairs, and property of the Maryland Hospital Association are overseen by a Board of Trustees. Members of the Board of Trustees are elected at the annual member meeting. Each Trustee will serve for a term of three years, with the option to be reelected for another three year term, for a total of up to six years of consecutive service.
MHA Policy Councils
MHA’s three policy councils help set MHA’s positions on issues important to hospitals and the people they serve. Recommendations are made to MHA’s Board of Trustees, which approves the positions and occasionally convenes task forces to address specific issues.
